ABOUT THE PROJECT

The almanac «Litera» is created by people for which the main thing in a life is an art. For one service to art is a trade, for others - disinterested command of heart. Is among them and what products are already known to general public, and those who for the first time has dared to promulgate results of the creativity, but each of authors of the almanac approaches to art with the high responsibility and professionalism, to each of them is what to tell in the products - musical compositions, verses, prose or picturesque cloths. Heterogeneity and a wide spectrum of expressive means and universality of talents are characteristic for authors of the almanac. Aspiration to high ideals of service to Art, to an embodiment of dream of comprehensively gifted creator - the person of new Renaissance, the inhabitant of the new boundless Castalia where in harmony of merge of arts are born Kindly and the True, - erases frameworks and breaks all labels. For this reason names of authors of the almanac frequently repeat in its various headings. The artist here becomes the prose writer, the composer - the poet, and the poet writes music.

However, the purpose of the almanac is not only expansion of horizons and deleting of borders in the world of art. Many thousand kilometers of space and real borders have run between the countries in which there live authors of the almanac. From far Siberia, through Kuban, Ukraine up to Poland and Germany their destiny has scattered. But spaces and borders are not imperous there where reigns art. For the majority of them the native language is Pushkin and Dostoevsky's language. To share with the world beauty and greatness of the Russian culture, to promote rapproachement and mutual understanding of peoples - here the worthy task for the artist living during an epoch of decomposition, wars and conflicts. Modern means have enabled authors of the almanac to collect together and to present in all completeness and a variety of genres and styles the products which, it would be desirable to hope though in a small measure will serve this noble purpose.
